Christian Esparza
Co-FounderChristian Esparza is the co-founder of Artista FERA and a third-generation blue-collar professional with a background that spans construction, finance, and accounting. Analytical by nature and calm in execution, Christian brings a systems-driven approach to residential painting—focusing on preparation, process, and consistency rather than shortcuts. His experience across trades and financial disciplines shapes how Artista FERA operates: clear scopes, realistic timelines, and work that’s done correctly the first time. Christian works directly on each project, remaining personally accountable from walkthrough to final detail.
Edward Tomala
Co-FounderEdward Tomala is the co-founder of Artista FERA and a second-generation painter with more than 30 years of hands-on experience across residential and commercial projects in Chicago. Having grown up around job sites, painting was never just a trade — it was an early education in discipline, patience, and pride in workmanship.
Edward is known for his meticulous preparation, sharp cut lines, and insistence on doing things correctly from the substrate up. His process-driven mindset ensures surfaces are properly repaired, primed, and finished to hold up over time. On every project, he reinforces the standards that define Artista FERA: clean lines, protected spaces, and finishes that reflect careful craftsmanship rather than rushed work.
